Today at school a kid told me the turbo blows the exhaust back into the intake, while I do not believe this, I am asking you guys how it works for a more reliable anwser, the way I think it works is the exhaust from the manifold causes the propeller to spin and its 2 sided since the one side is spinning via the exhaust the other side builds up clean air and shoves it in. If im wrong please correct me. Thanks

 

You are not wrong.

 

yup. you got the idea. exhaust spins the turbine, which is connected to the impeller (note: not propeller ) by a shaft. The impeller forces the air into the engine.

 

So the exhaust DOES NOT go back into the intake, thanks, I was 99% sure plus putting exhaust back into the intake sounds odd anywheres. thanks again.

 

Be 100% sure. If there's exhaust going back into the intake . . . there's an issue.
