SLP Fan Switch Control...krazykorean35 03-09-2007, 03:23 PM anybody out there have this installed on their car...does it really make a difference...already have a slp160 thermostat installed?? 69gto96z 03-09-2007, 03:35 PM Its not worth the money. 10 ft of wire and a switch from radio shack is all you need. I just spliced mine into the ground side of the high speed fan relay coming out of the under-hood fuse box and grounded the other side of the switch. When I flip the switch, the fans turn on. Works perfect, and cost about 4 bucks. krazykorean35 03-09-2007, 04:01 PM do ur fans still turn on automatically? 2001NBMZ28 03-09-2007, 04:17 PM Don't know what the going price is nowadays, but put one in my car years ago and never had a problem with it. LBJ 03-09-2007, 05:34 PM do ur fans still turn on automatically? Yes... I have the SLP version, it has been on the car for 2-3yrs and works great. It works great when you are stuck in a slow moving staging lane...you can flip it on the High setting and it will keep the water temp from climbing. Zitty'sZ 03-15-2007, 07:41 PM When you turn the fans to high speed , do both fans blow air? The reason that I'm asking is because when I have the switch on low I can feel the air blowing from both fans, but when I switch to high, only the passenger side fan seems to be working. Is this normal? 2001NBMZ28 03-15-2007, 07:51 PM Using the switch both of my fans run, regardless of speed setting. | ||
