Stripped bellhousing bolt A4 HELP !!!

Stripped bellhousing bolt A4 HELP !!!

I got all the bellhousing bolts out on my A4 trans except for the
drivers top one . I have tried for 6 hours straight to get this damn thing off and it just wont come out . It is so friggin tight that i was giving it my all
and it still wouldnt budge I think one of the sides of the bolt is stripped
now cuz i cant get any kind of socket to work . Please help ASAP I need
to get the trans jack back to the rental store

Last resort is drop the motor or drill an access hole in the floor pan.

yeah, there is a socket with teeth on it (like grooves facing the wrong way that grap the head of the bolt) you can get this at o reilley(SP?), youll have to let the tranny hang and maybe jack on the motor.or hammer in the floorboard.....maybe remove the oil pressure switch so it wont break, and remove the exhaust to help let it hang...if that doesnt work take it to a shop or get a air chizzel? limited access keep you from drilling a hole and using an "easy out" you might ahve to drop the k member ect. to get some access...id say try the bolt extractor if you can, and hammer it on good...

I got that S.O.B. out with a stripped bolt remover socket FINALLY
I will post pics of the said bolt later . Thanks for the help
