Any mods to fit a 295\35\18?

alright, my car has a 1.25" lowering kit, im getting a ADJ panhard rod.

what i have to do any fender rolling (please no) or hammering (not a big deal) to make these wheels fit? 295\35\18 BFG drag radial.

and also, if i ran a 275\35\18 in the front would it look funny having less sidewall? should i run a 275\40\18? or like a 265\40\18 to try and match it up.

let me know what you guys think.

What's the width and offset of the wheels they are going on? That will determine what they hit or dont hit.

The 295/35-18 is virtually the same diameter as the stock 235/55-16's that came on a lot of 4th Gens. Its the 2.36" extra width that may be the problem, depending where the wheels sit in the wheel wells.

The difference in sidewall height between a 275/35-18 and a 295/35-18 is about 1/4", not very noticeable. A 275/40-18 would be 1/4" larger than the 295/35-18 on the sidewall.

im getting the American Racing Rebel Chrome Plated 18 x 10. 30mm offset, 5x4 1/2 bolt pattern , and 6 3/4 back spacing. (i think thats the sizing) then ill run a 18x9 in the front.

i was thinking going if i run a 255\40 in the front, the sidewalls will be pretty close to being identical. 295\35 and 255\40

id like to keep the same size rim around, i dont really like the offset look. would the sidewall look dumb being only a 35? im trying to find pics of what itll look like, imo a 275\35\18 looks dumb. but i think a 295 will be close to the 275\40 so i mean, it should be okay. right?

i have no problem running 17's cheaper tires and rims that way :P but i want it to look sick.

also a 295/35/18 tire is 26.12 tall and each sidewall (top and bottom) are 4.06, and a 275/40/18 is 26.66 tall and each side wall is 4.33, just thought that might help

You're going to have a major problem... the 5 X 4-1/2" bolt pattern is for Mustangs. Your F-Body needs a 5 X 4.75" (120.65mm) bolt pattern.

The 30mm offset is way too small on a 10" wide wheel.... the wheels/tires are going to be outside the rear fenders by at least 1/2". With a lowered car, its very likely the fender lip is going to be cutting the sidewall with every bump compression..... or coming right down on the tread.

It amazes that people are willing to tell you they will "fit fine", without knowing anything about the wheels the tires are going on. The tires and wheels have to be considered as a "package", not individual items.

Ive got 295x35x18's on the back of my camaro with a 1 1/2 drop. Offhand I don't know the backspacing though but they fit fine with no rubbing. I was thinking going wider in the rear this summer since I need new tires. So they can fit. Sorry I don't have more details.

I've got the rerbels in 18x10 in the back but I can't remember what the offset was. I have 275/35's in the back and I am going to have to roll my fender on the driver side because it hits the sidwall if I have someone in the back. My car isn't lowered.
