O2 extention for lt1?toolmaker 01-21-2007, 02:31 PM How long of extention do you need with pace long tube headers on a lt1??? THANKS 69z-28 01-21-2007, 02:49 PM with my hookers which i would assume have pretty similar O2 locations as the pacesetters, i got the 12" ones then realized they wouldnt be long enough so i got the 24" ones. they leave you lots of room to work with, i had to tie them up in a few spots to make sure they didnt touch the headers or anything they shouldnt have. i would go with the longer ones instead of fighting with the shorties to reach 2000GTP 01-21-2007, 04:21 PM I originally bought the 24" extensions for my Pacesetters and I was just unhappy with how much extra length I had in the harness. I ended up buying a pair of 12" extensions and swapped them out. They were perfectly long enough for my application. toolmaker 01-22-2007, 04:36 PM Thanks 69z-28 01-24-2007, 10:38 PM hmmm. too short for my hookers. maybe they are different for Pacesetters. 2000GTP 01-25-2007, 12:42 PM hmmm. too short for my hookers. maybe they are different for Pacesetters. I believe the 02 bungs are in different locations between the two brands so that may be why. ponyackn 01-26-2007, 02:15 AM I too found that the 12" extensions were good enough with my pace setters. toolmaker 01-26-2007, 04:30 PM do you all have single wire O2's or multiple wire O2's??? 2000GTP 01-26-2007, 04:41 PM 4-wire O2s. toolmaker 01-26-2007, 07:46 PM that's why I can't find the right O2 ext. mine is a single wire. 2000GTP 01-26-2007, 07:59 PM that's why I can't find the right O2 ext. mine is a single wire. Your options may be limited then, I'm only seeing 24" extensions for the single wire sensors. Not a big deal though. toolmaker 01-27-2007, 07:24 PM where did you find the single wire ext. at???? 2000GTP 01-28-2007, 01:22 PM where did you find the single wire ext. at???? Thunder Racing. | ||
