 Its very cold and snow on the ground so i have not gotten much time to drive the car. I was able to get on the freeway on a dry patch and test the car. The car ran good every time i got on the car. It seemed much faster. I then took it out with a vacuum/boost gauge attached. I would immediately get boost when i hit the gas and make 5 to 6 psi. Then the next time only vacuum until the car got to high rpm's and it would then get to only 1 to 2 psi if at all. Very stange with 6 tries i got 3 good boost runs. if anyone has an idea i would love to fix this. I tightened the belt with a bar and a mallet so i know slipping can't happen. Can you overtighten them and is there a way to check the belt for perfect tension?

you got 2 thing to look for.. 1) belt slip 2) you got a leaks in the connection somewhere.

If it feels different after you hooked up the boost gage, more than likely there is a vacuum leak in where you attached it. This would explain everything, and is a likely candidate, and most likely an easy fix.

I checked the elbow between the TB and the SC and found the rubber piece that seals the joints is not on all the way. I tried to move it to cover and the other end is now not long enough. I love how much crap i end up buying to fix there non fitting parts. The fuel pump was 5/16 instead of 3/8 so i had to spend a day running around and finding the right part and building it. Next the unit sit to close to the bracket so i had to remove it and put washers to give enough space to put the sleeve on. Now the pulley is slightly off and have to have spacers added. They also left the holes in the air intake on the wrong side of the MAF so i had to seal them. Learned a lot like never buy the cheapest one on the market.

I put put a bigger sleeve on and it seems for now to have fixed my problem. Thanks for the help. It also appears that the boost reaches the most when you accelerate a specific amount. WOT is ok but around 3/4 seems to work best. I love the feeling of going 50 on the freeway and in 2 seconds your around 80.

Wait until your lust for more boost forces you to do so. If your hooked at 6.5#'s of boost, wait till you feel 16#'s of boost!
Glad I could help you out.
