I bought the lifetime tune from Bryan years ago. I wonder if he still honors that, anyway, I move from Socal to Ohio. The smog test or E-check here is free for all Ohio registered vehicles. Since it was free I decided to try the test with the custom tune in it. My numbers were better here with Bryans tune than they were with the stock tune in Socal. Thanks for making this smog stuff so easy Bryan. :thumb:

Do they enforce emissions there? Im in Northwest Ohio and been driving without anything to do with emissions on my car for 3 years and never been a problem.. Even when pulled over..

once your car is 3 or 5 years old you need to get smog checked every two years. even and odd is how they do it.

i am just south of cleveland in medina county. they call it an e check. it was different than what they did to me in california. it was much less on the physical inspection (no egr, no pcv, didn't even pop the hood). the only thing i can say for sure is they checkd for a cat (i think it was a mirror to see what was under the car), gas cap pressure test, and a sniffer in the tail pipe. the sniffer checked three things. i dont remember them off the top of my head but i can get the numbers off the sheet they gave me if anyone is really interested. in CA they also plugged into your aldl connection so while the test was going you were connected live to the main database in sacramento. they really made it hard to cheat there.
