How to tell if Main bearings are gone

Here is a link to my Main bearing pic on dieselplace.com.
They look fairly bad but I do not know for sure if I should change the rest of them.

Must be a member to view. See if you can just post the pic here.

They come with alot of clearance in them, but since its already apart, replace them.

those are done... they are worn a bit but nothing abnormal for a high milage diesel.

bearings are cheap, put new ones in.

The date on the main bearing I pulled is "12 82"
I take that as meaning Dec 1982.
My truck is an '84 year model that means it was built in 1983.
I ordered new bearings and got the torque values for the mains from the dealers' service manual.
Think I should toss on some new rod bearing too?

Rod and main bearings are Sealed Power (speedpro). That is about all I could find. These ones were made in 2005, I am sure bearing Mfg. has improved some in 22 years.
The 2pc. rear main is a felpro steel reinforced synthetic something.
It replaced a "rope type seal" and it is what it sounds like. Yes, a seal made of rope.
3 of the Mains are changed, I measured them down to the 0.001'' and there identical down to the thousandth. I did put the mains back on how they came off, these mains have little arrows cast into them.
So far the crank still turns about as smoothly as you could expect, no binding.
I for got how much of a PITA the thrust bearing is.
I soaked them all down with GM E.O.S. assembly lube. It is a lot like gear oil with out the stink and thicker.
Now I just need a Torque wrench that goes over 110Ft.Lb.
When I pull the rod bearings I'll post pics.
I run propane so I need to know my rod bearings are in good shape.
Thanks, every one.
