well i have my box in the hatch right now and i got to thinking at school today that had nothing to do with school...... so i thought to myself well i NEVER really use my back seat for anything so i was wondering if anybody took their back seat completely out and made a neat little sub box that holds 2 12 inch subs, post some pics id love to do this some day

 

i took mine out due to themnot being back frommy sister put 2 12s mids and tweets in covered it in some nice fabric tookthe seat belts out also since they ll never get used i did mine from side to side onontopof the arm reston the side cost me 12.00 my buddy got me the wood for the job and just on a note the only reason i did it cause it was time to drive it again and my sister didnt have my back seats done that was 2 years ago and i still dont have them go figure

I had my seats out for the longest time because I planned on enclosing 4 12's in a fiberglass enclosure. I ended up not doing it because the size of the box/design of the box was just too much for me to want to get in to. It's pretty nice having the seats back there...I think they're worth it in the long run. My advice is to keep them and build yourself a nice box in the well. It will sound better back there anyway.

 

I believe something like this was discussed before and the general consensus by the people in the know on here was that the backseat is a deadspot in the Camaro and that placing subs there is not an ideal location. However, i would research more before deciding on anything.
