FireTurd dissapoints me agian...

Check out my sig for previous 4th gens. I always posted my races with the camaros so i guess im entitled to post this one. Ive had the fireturd since 2000 but also had a V8 camaro for my speed fix. Now my situation finds me with the firebird being the sole surviver and while out enjoying an afternoon drive i was getting up to about 70 in 55 through some fun curves on a four lane. nothing crazy but enough to make it fun. A red nissan sentra must have been intimidated that i passed them so fast in a curve so when it straightens back out he's off, passing me back. about a mile down the road he gets hung up behind a car in the passing lane and i get behind him agian. when the car gets out of his way his car jumped as he downshifted so i floored it too. barely gained anything from 60-100 it was one of the SE-R spec v's i think around 175hp and im sure by the way it jerked shifting it was a manual. I was dissapointed. ive since rigged my SLP lid to work on the 3.8 and it seems to help a bit, but still not enough....

I had a friend race one in his T5 3.8 Camaro, and from what I heard it was almost even. Disappointing, maybe, but expected.

it's only 200hp in a 3400lb car, maybe get an XP cam and see what happens.
