Help me pick out a good system/box for my car

I have a 97 camaro with t-tops. Im looking for a box that can hold my t-tops. I already looked at subthump and it seems expensive, $270 for a box is hard for a 17 yr old to afford. Im gonna probley be getting a system for christmas but i am clueless on what to get. Ive been looking at kicker brand speakers, im looking for two 12's. I also need to know if theres a box somewhere else that holds t-tops, if not i guees i can just settle for a regular box. But what would be the best subs for me to buy. I want some that hit hard but are not really expensive. I worked with a kid who i think had mtx brand subs. He had two 12's and they where extremely loud. I also have another freind who went to a shop called "sound waves" by where i live and got everything for $800. I listened to his speakers and they hit but not nearly or even close as the ones that the kid i worked with had. Im not sure what brand of subs the one kid had who had them done at a shop but they were not to great. Thnaks

Type-Rs 12s 2 ohm DVC, wire them down to 1 ohm and get a hifonics amp that puts out at least 1500 @ 1 ohm.
