I have a 94 Camaro with the bose system in it. I replaced the bose head unit with a JVC headunit and put a Alpine amp and subwoofers in it. The problem is the music fades in and out. I think it is the faulty bose amp so i want to disconnect it. I cannot find it though and dont know how to disconnect it. Also how would I go about putting 2 new speakers in the back. How would I wire it up.

 

In my experience there is no actual Bose amp. Each speaker in a Bose system has it's own amplifier module right next to it. This is how it was set up in a friend's Vette. I would assume it's the same for your car as well.

 

For that year your right, I believe in 95 or 96 they switched out to a single amplifier for every car except Caddys.
