Installing rear coil springs direction ?BLACK Z ! 10-23-2006, 07:05 AM I was wondering on the rear coil springs which way do you want the bottom facing ( where the coil ends) does it change the ride height is you have it facing one way or the other? if so what does what? what about the top? thanks P.S my car sits a little lower in the back then I like. 86 Z28 camaro shoebox 10-23-2006, 08:37 AM The open end of the lower coil should face forward. Always worked, I started because I saw a few stockers had them this way.
