Replacing all the clutch hydraulics..master cylinder?

I got the complete kit from gm, pre bleed and am trying to see if the hydraulics are the reason why my clutch wont fully disengage. I know how to take everything else off except the master cylinder. Is it best to remove the brake booster before doing anything? When removing the booster I dont have to disconnect any brake lines right? Any help on removing it?

I just got done doing this. I didnt have to remove the brake booster or the lines. I'll admit I initially thought I would have too but it wasnt required. Once you take out the bolts from the inside of the U-bolt, I took a little hammer and evenly tapped the ubolt out. I then was able to grab the slave from the underside and was able to pull it out. Good luck.
