1991 Camaro RS V6 3.1L i did a whole engine swap and got everything hooked up, this is my first engine ive ever done myself and i think so far ive done pretty good but i just can't figure out where 1 power wire goes, first let me start from where the power is commin from, there is 2 wires that come off the battery and 1 goes to the alternator and the other 1 goes to a little junction box on the passenger side of the car, now i have a few wires going into the harness comming from that junction box, a set of 2 wires comming from the junction box have fusable links attatched to it by the box and a set of fusable links at the other end right by the starter cylinoid and i checked thoes and they work fine still but there is 1 power wire comming from the junction box that i can't figure out where it goes, plz help cause ive been trying to figure out where it goes for awhile now.

Here is a few pictures of my car and the junction box, the wire you see pointing up and not attatched to anything is the wire im confused about, on the junction box there is a few red wires attatched to it but only 2 that go down to the starter and they have 4 fusable links on it, 2 by the junction box and 2 by the starter

oh yeah and the reason i took the starter out is cause i snapped the switch terminal bolt on the cylinoid and i need to replace it, also the way i figured out that all the fusable links work is that one wire that im confused about where it goes is i reached that wire down to where the starter goes and i touched that wire on the set of 2 wires that attatch to the starter cylinoid and all my power headlights came on also all my interior and dash lights came on.

I think it may be a ground, but before u hook it up as one make shure it is (i.e. Trace it Or anotherway) beacuse if im wrong......... it may cause more issues, if its not lemme know.

well i know for a fact that its not a ground wire cause that whole junction box has all power wires attatched to it, it has direct power from the battery and the alternator has direct power from the battery and the other wires that come off the junction box go to the starter and it goes into the harness, all thoes wires on the junction box are all attatched to 1 bolt altogether. the power wire that comes directly off the battery is the exact same size wire that i do not have connected to anything that comes off the junction box. and i was thinking it goes to the starter switch terminal but then i thought if it had direct power all the time then the cylinoid would be running 24/7 and i know thats not the way its supposed to be so now im confuse anywhere else to connect that wire, i was thinking it might go to the alternator but then i thought why would 2 power wires be going to the alternator, so now im still frustrated.

does it have a ring termonal that will fit where the rest of the starter wires w/ the fuseable links go?? if so then thats prolly where it goes (unless it goes to the back of alternator if u dont have a wire there) man this would be much eaiser if i could see ur car in person, does it fire w/out it hooled up??
