Apparently th shop that did the 6spd conversion couldnt make my torque arm mount bolt up to the trans (even though everything swapped was GM and correct year for the car :death:) i figure ill spend just as much having another shop fix it as i would buying a new one and putting it in myself, the edelbrock is showin on summit for around 190 shipped.. anyone have any other suggestions or is this the way to go? (wheel hop is horrible right now just taking off normal is unbearable and luckily hard launches only lead to wheel spin as i could only imagine if it grabbed right now with 1 bolt holding the torque arm..)

Does the Edelbrock arm use the stock mount housing? Usually they do, and that's not going to solve the problem of the mount not being bolted correctly to the tranny. You would need a TA like the Spohn that relocates the front mount to the chassis. Maybe the stock TA mounts for the T56 and the 4L60E are different though???? That would explain why they couldn't bolt yours up to the T56.

i mean i even bought brand new GM TA mounts for the 6 speed.. and they still didnt bolt up, so do you have any links to a place that sells the spohn then?

The parts book shows different part numbers for 94 F body torque arms so maybe you need a 6 speed torque arm?
According to the parts manual:
M30 trans takes 10034255
MM6 trans takes 10261946
I have no idea what the difference is or whether they are interchangeable

thanks bud, i think u may have just found my problem out, im gonna get under the car tomorrow and get the part # off the ta mount i got, and order the one i dont have and see if that fixes it, thanks!
