My 1st Camaro

Hi. My name is Dan and I just got my 1st Camaro. It's a 1989 Camaro RS. It only has 56K miles and was one owner. I left school in 1988, so this is my dream car. If anyone has any information on restoration, I would be most thankful. The big priorty is the steering colum. I need a new tilt knuckle.

Maybe he is just referring to the tilt assembly as a whole. I remember when I first got my old third gen, the steering column was all wobbly. The first thing I had to do was take it apart and tighten up those bolts in the tilt assembly.

Re: My 1st Camaro

Post in the 3rd gen forum, maybe you will get more help. People here are passionate about the Camaro and mispelling the name hits a nerve. It's like someone repeatedly mispronouncing your name to your face. You tend not to take them seriously (plus it is aggravating).

Re: My 1st Camero

I was going to correct the spelling in the topic for you, but appears you've decided not to post here. But I'll change it anyway.

You're over reacting. There's a lot of good info here, but it requires a bit of maturity on the part of both the person who askes the question and the people who try and help to make it work. Seems like it broke down on both ends.

I'll also edit out the posts that contributed nothing to the discussion.
