Window and door problems

Has any one ever had the inner part of you door tear? The fiberglass that the window motor is bolted to. I have about a 1/2 tear in mine where the bolt for the motor is and now my window won't go up all the way, any ideas on how to fix it......

The window motor attaches to the regulator, not the door housing.

Then, the regulator attaches to the door.

It sounds like you will need to get a fiberglass repair kit and patch it up. If it was my car, I'd completely remove the window and regulator assemblies first. Then I would patch the mounting holes that are damaged and finish by drilling new holes in the patched spots.
