LT1 -> LS1 brake swap ABS question

I needed a new drivers side hub, and it wasn't much more money wise to convert to LS1 brakes anyways. I got the hubs w/ ABS sensors, spindles, rotors, calipers, rubber lines, and ABS wire for both sides, all used from a corvette/F-Body place local here.

Installed on both sides, used the calipers as a core and got new ones, and pads. Got everything on and bled, and the "TCS OFF" and "ABS INOP" lights were illuminated on the dash. Made sure everything was connected and still on.

Tried to research for a bit online but couldn't find any answers so on a hunch i reinstalled the LT1 hubs (got a new one for the drivers side) and no more lights.

Now my question is whats different with the LS1 Abs sensors compared to the LT1 sensors to anger the computer? And also, while I'm at it, when I push the pedal hard, the "Brake" light on the dash will flash for a split second. That mean I just have a little air left in the lines?

Brakes feel great though, definetly a good upgrade one I got everything straightened out. Thanks in advance...

when I did my LS1 brake swap I never got a ABS light , so maybe one of the hub sensors has gone bad?

would there be a way to check them? like take a multimeter and check resistance for example?

honestly I am not sure, but maybe someone could chime in and help out? I am sure Shoebox would know.

There isn't any difference in the hub/abs sensor... Be sure that you've bled the brakes starting with the the abs unit... If you are sure that the system is fully bled, then disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect and see if you still have the light...

Good luck.

i don't have the lights on anymore since I put the LT1 hubs back on. or are you talking about the "brake" light

I believe the hubs are all the same. When i put in my LS1 setup i just used the LS1 hubs and have no light problems. Maybe one of the new LS1 hub sensors is broken, or maybe the sensors are different if you have traction control.
