I got the 93-97 camaro big block hood on a all black z28 but was thinking of painting the main scoop red. It the sting ray look alike hood. Just wanna see what it would look like in red and the rest all black.

To me that hood is usually too "tacky" but on AZ2ENVYs car it actually looks pretty good. It must be the paint scheme.

BTW, I have that magazine, I didnt know it was owned by a board member.

I have that hood on my 95 and i love it, i think it would look good with the right colors. I've seen a few SS hoods with just the scoop painted and it looked good.

 

I have the ZL1 stripe painted on my SS and I love it. I really get alot of compliments on it.

 

I bought my Z and it had the BB hood, wasn't a real big fan of it, but I put stripes down the sides of the 'cowl' and I think it looks a lot better. Its not nearly as loud as making the entire center section red, but gives a little eye candy..

I had the cowl part painted black and the rest of the hood was that dark green metallic.

 

saw that color before on a z and it looked like a$$...Yours has a nice touch w/ the powercoated wheels...I Like it alot
