changing plugs/wires on '98 V6

how hard is it to change the plugs and wires? when i called the shop they said the would need it all day and that it would be difficult to do. maybe they're thinking of the LT1?

also, the 3 little ovular boxes to the right of the plugs, those are the coils, right?

Yes those are coils. They always need to car for the day just to cover themselves in case anything else comes up. I've never really looked at the plugs on the 3.8 so I couldn't tell you how hard it is.

I did plugs wires on a 98 firebird v6, wasn't to bad on a hoist

give your self a day, just to be safe, but on a hoist, under 3 hours

if you do it, take the wires off still in the clips, swap in the new wires to the clips, then reinstall as an assembly

I've done a 96 3.8. It's not the easiest.
