Is this a good wheel and tire selection?

Never heard of those tires. W/a 360 tread wear rating they're more for longer life than performance.

The wheels are the correct offset for a 4th Gen. The tires are a bit on the narrow side, and about 1/3" smaller in diameter than the stock tires. A 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 would be preferable.

Never heard of Nexen..... I wouldn't take a chance, without seeing some test data or user feedback. Try an I'net search on "Nexen" and see if you can find any hits at all.

I thought +56mm was the correct offset?

they are, thats why he said the offset is correct

e-Bay shows the offset on those wheels as 54mm.

You can use a 9.5" wide wheel on a 4th Gen, using any offset between 45mm and 56mm (some people go as low as 35 to 38mm, but they stick out too far for my personal preference). This is all covered in the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum.

Hence, the e-Bay wheels are the correct offset for a 4th Gen. Do you realize that 2mm = less than 8/100ths of an inch. What is the problem? :)
