3.4 probelmsChadh7 10-29-2002, 11:21 PM I have had some problems with my 94 3.4. It seems to vibrate pretty bad sometimes, and when i press on the accelerator, it makes a...you could say "grinding" noise. It seems like it's got to be something w/ the wheels, u joints or something, but it's an engine probelem, b/c when the engine doesn't vibrate it all goes away...it goes away and comes. when it is here though, the whole car vibrates, and i can feel a grinding underneath my feet...i need help..PLEAZ! stagen 10-30-2002, 06:22 PM Check your transmission mount ibanez6rg 10-30-2002, 07:14 PM Could it be the flywheel?? If you do a search on either this or the LT1 forum for 'tranny mount' you should get a few threads that'll show ya how to check it. Doesn't take long at all... you're pretty much just looking to see if the mount is broken into 2 pieces :D A friend of mines '94 Z broke a tranny mount last year. On visual inspection by crawling under the car it looked fine but when you jacked it up just a bit you could see where it was broken. | ||
