Ok ok ok....been doing some more research on the issue and how I wanted to NOT go this route due to funds etc yadayadayada.... and sticking w/ high Z 60# Siemens. Well screw the funds, if I'm going to go this route I may as well do it right the 1st time out.
The 3 questions I have though is this. Why are so many for sale? Searching on here I've seen a lot, now is this due to everyone switching over to a stand alone unit to handle their fuel concerns or some other reason I haven't found out about yet.
2. Is anyone running one right now w/ cats? I've read alot regarding how they can't work well at idle and stay in open loop and being rich etc. That's my main concern over anything else actually.
3. What size? 72's or 83's? Most will say depends on what you are trying to do etc and I understand that. 700rwhp is the goal and nothing more and it's a wkend car more than anything else. I know details are needed so here's a brief description.
401ci, LT1 ported heads 2.00/1.56, 279/196 cfm @ .550
232/242 115 LSA .544/.560 @ .050, AFR rev kit
12 rib D1SC 14psi 4.5" twin IC's, SDCE tensioner, race by pass valve
-31cc Ross pistons
KB boost-a-pump, 255 Racetronix pump, 72 or 83's inj's and versafueler
