my girlfriends car, turbo beetle 2002 wont start so we towed it to a shop and he said that the turbo wastegate is stuck open. would this cause a no start, i thought this was only to bypass the turbo if boost was exceeded and had nothing to do with starting at all?? they said $380 to replace?
