good daily driver/ sport tires

i need 275/40/17s. i need rear tires BAD! i plan on getting Nittos or some DR's for the track but need something for the winter and then next summer. i want something that has good traction but will also spin easily when i drop the clutch. must look good and basically just be a good overall tire for the most part. any suggestions?

Wait, you actually WANT a tire that spins easy?

When I had my 70 w/a budget built 350, I loved racing guys w/"no expense spared" strokers and big blocks that were like that!!!

Just get a tire w/a high treadwear rating.

well its a stock 10 bolt. if im showing off soemwhere and do a wholeshot i dont want to get a ****load of traction and blow the rear end. id rather have them smoke. traction is only for the track.lol

Re: good daily driver/ sport tires

sorry, shoulda clearified more. they need to get me through winter, but i want mostly a summer performance tire that will hold well on turns but will give some good smoke and spin very freely when i want them to. i am only going to drive during winter to and from work which is like 5 minutes up the road and i drive VERY slow in snow so its not a huge deal.
