what should I do with old 4 bolt 350 block

got this block about 15yrs ago -had it bored .030 or is it .30 someone correct me on that

had the deck resurfaced and ne cam bearings installed

was going to build it with new crank--but found another complete engine

so this block has been sitting in my shed all this time with axle grease smeared all over it to keep the rust away

should I buy a crank kit and build it or just sell it as a bare block

keep in mind I don't have a vehicle that this would be going into anymore

It's .030", commonly referred to as "30 over". You would have a hard time recovering any money you invest in building it as a complete engine or shortblock, never mind your time/effort. If you don't intend to use it yourself, probably best just to sell off the block. BUT, if you don't need the cash, why not just hang on to it, can never tell if you might need it in the future. Boosted,

If you are thinking of selling it, I'd be interested in it for the right price. I have a '91 Z28 with a pretty much stock 305 that I'm looking to swap for a built-up 350 4-bolt. If you want to save it for the kids, I totally respect that.

If I ever have a boy, I'd love to teach him about cars growing up. My dad showed me a little bit and i thought it was cool! I learned a lot from him and a lot from just doin' stuff myself.

If you are looking to sell, how much would you want? My brother wants to build a 350 for his '79 Malibu.

Where in PA are you located?

Cool, I'll mention it to him tonight, and I'll post back up and let you know if he is interested.

Boosted,

No I'm still totally intersted and willing to make the drive to pick it up. According to my map program, I could be in Danville in 6hrs. $150 was actually the number I was thinking of.

I'll take your offer if you are willing.
