315/35's are definitely not meant to fit on a 9.5" wide wheel. Most (including the Goodyears) require 10.5" minimum... that's why most guys with 315's are running 17x11's.

Do a "search"...... this subject has been beat to death. 1/2 the people (including me) will tell you not to do it, and the other 1/2 will cite dozens of cases where people have done it and survived.

It is fair to say that most of the people that defend using a 315 on a 9.5" wide wheel are running the Nitto Drag Radials, and their 315 seems to be a lot narrower than most other 315's. If the Eagle F1 is a full size 315, its going to look very "bulgey" on the sides. Won't rub on anything if yout 17x9.5 ZO6's have the normal 54mm offset. The question is, will the tread contact patch be correct? Will the tire suffer from heat buildup and carcass deterioration from excessive flexing on the narrower wheel?
