My SES came on and it said I had a problem with my bank 1 O2 sensor. I called Jason for the part, and he needed ot know if it was in the exhaust manifold or the cat. Which is it in?

Kataklysm 08-03-2005, 01:59 PM If its bank 1 sensor 1 it is in the manifold, bank 1 sensor 2 is the cat. shoebox 08-03-2005, 02:33 PM My SES came on and it said I had a problem with my bank 1 O2 sensor. Since you have a 1995, you should only have one sensor per side and it is before the cat. It should be GM PART # 25312184 . [edit] I just glanced at your sig. I realize now that you may not have a 1995. Injuneer 08-03-2005, 03:11 PM You might want to give us the specific code.... there are multiple codes for each O2 sensor, and not all of the codes mean the solution is replacement. Sometimes the O2 sensor code shows up as a result of other problems. 95TA8280 08-09-2005, 03:36 PM It's for my 01, not 95... I think I tossed the code and Autozone cleared it fromthe computer. Does this mean I need to go around spending $15 on a gas a day until the SES comes back on? shoebox 08-09-2005, 04:45 PM It's for my 01, not 95... I don't know how else you are going to know the code until it appears again. I'd worry about it when it comes back. Also, your code description was incomplete. It should have said "bank 1, sensor 1" or "bank 1, sensor 2". That's probalby why Jason did not know which one you needed. | ||
