Any non-lowering springs available to stiffen ride?

I tried to lower the car to enhance ride... it did, but I trashed my exhaust so.... is there any company that makes a stronger than stock spring that WON'T lower my car?

On your RPO code do you have FE2 or FE4? I have the FE4 springs in my '94 and with just Hotchkis sway bars it handles very well but rides kinda harsh. One g/f even prefered to ride in my ZR2 Blazer instead of the Z. That relationship didn't last long, lol. The FE4 springs are the factory "performance handling and ride" option and when I was looking for a stiffer non-lowering spring, the part # cross refferenced to both 1LE and WS6 springs. I figured I had about the stiffest factory springs in it and would eventually go to a QA1 coil over conversion with adj. ride height. I curse the end of my driveway -- no long tubes and no lowering

1le springs are .75" lower. Not as low as others. What springs were you running?
You could also try 98-early 00 SS springs.

I would suggest larger swaybars instead of a spring change to begin with.

I have the stock springs back on now. I haven't checked the RPO # yet, but when I tried to call for 1LE springs from GM they told me there is no difference b/t them and what I have now. Now that you mentioned the 1LE springs are still lower that his no longer an option either. My exhaust is just too low. Are the SS springs different than the Z28's?
I have an Eibach anti-roll kit that includes a larger sway bar already.

I am pretty sure GM didn't make any 4th gen. 1LE verts, so I don't think you have the 1LE springs on your car right now. Second of all, 1LE springs do NOT lower the car at all (actually my car sits a little higher now, even after the 1LE springs completely settled); they are just stiffer springs that do not change the ride height which is what you are looking for.

A second but costlier option would be the Ground Control coil-over kit; you can go from stock ride height to the slammed look with a few adjustments (You will need a realignment everytime you significantly raise or lower the car though).

Good luck.

Not right, 1LE are as much as 1/4" taller when installed, than stock. Many major misconceptions about these springs.

Have they changed the quality of your ride? I know the Eibach's really did, on both launches and handling. Man if they don't in fact lower the car then they are next on the "List".

Thanks for all the help guy's

The difference in ride quality is negligible (for me, at least).
