Question Quick Tranny ?

What size stall converter does my 91 z 350 have. I was thinking of getting a b&m tork master 2400.

Re: Quick Tranny ?

I don't remember exact specs, but I think most f-body stockers were in the 1800 range. Correct me if I'm wrong....

Re: Quick Tranny ?

Stock should be 1600-1700.

I've never used a B&M trans or converter but 2400-2800 is definately what a TPI car needs, unless you're building the engine for more RPM with an aggressive enough cam/head/intake combo. Are all of those parts stock still?

Re: Quick Tranny ?

No, not stock anymore i put a big roller cam and i rebuilt the engine had it bored, crank shaved, ported polished all new valve train, big valves, roler rockers, hardened rods. I think i will just go with the 2400 b&m.
