Arrow Who's Got a JET FAN SWITCH in their LT1?? Need opnions!

Who's got them and u encounter any problems? when does the switch turn the fans on?? let me know any and all details you can...thanks guys!

I have the switch and it works great at cooling my motor off. It works best w/ a 160 degree thermostat.

Yeah i got the jet fan switch, anyone know where the sensor goes. My 93 Z does have one according to jet's intall page. It says the sensor between cyl 6 and 8, but my lt1 dosen't ahve one. Help

There's a threaded water jacket plug that will have to be removed. That is what they are referring to. Good luck getting it out. I had to make a special tool to get it. It has a square drive hole in it. I'm sure that the Snap-On people probably had the right tool but I didn't feel like waiting.

I have one. Its a good product. You will need an 8 mm drain plug socket to get the plug out of the head to put the switch in. I got one at NAPA auto parts.
