Fuel/Nitrous lines from solenoids - not equal length?

On a wet kit (NX), will there be any adverse effect by not having equal length nitrous and fuel lines running from the solenoids to the intake tract? In this case, the fuel line is the shorter of the 2, due to the way the kit is installed. Would there be any problems having the nitrous line running from the nitrous solenoid have a longer length to the intake than the fuel line running from the fuel solenoid to the intake? Will the nitrous and fuel not mix at the proper times in the intake tract, or will the time difference be negligible? I'm assuming the fuel will reach the intake tract first, due to the line being shorter, but the time difference between when the fuel reaches the intake and the nitrous reaches the intake will be a fraction of a second correct? Will this be a problem?

The time differential is probably infinitesimal but with the fuel pressure
~40psi and the nitrous ~900psi I would want the shorter line to be
the fuel line.

It stands to reason that it's already off with the equal lines supplied with the kits due to the pressure differences just as Emil said. With equal lines, the nitrous gets there first. Back when I installed my NX kit, I asked a similar question of Nitrous Warehouse and was told to install the kit as is, and they didn't recommend changing any of the lengths because that's what it was tested with. I don't see any issue though...

Sometimes people purposely run a much longer nitrous line to the plate and coil it up. It reduces the inital hit on the tires. If its just a few inches it won't make a difference at all. A 24+ inch line can soften the engagement some.

The line length we're talking about is after the purge solenoid. It's the distance from the solenoids to the nozzle being discussed.

Then that half a foot of line is not going to make a diffrence shorting it up..

Actually it as long as we are only talking a few inches or so its no big deal.As long as the system is not going rich before the nitrous hits it will be ok.

What would happen if the system DID go rich before the nitrous hit?

Rich would be better than lean, no?

It softens the hit some if it goes a bit rich. Way rich and the engine will shut off, or really misfire. Also if the fuel solinoid did not happen to come on at all, there would probably be no internal damage as it would be too lean to make any power either, but would probably backfire through the intake and could hurt parts that way. Its when you're just barely too lean that aluminum can be consumed to sustain combustion. Very rich and very lean doesn't hurt parts.
