I got into a wreck last November and bent my axles, I got new axles put on and friday I went to get my tires alined and they said they could not do it because my rear end is bent!!!!. I go home and look at my tires and my back drivers side is sticking about an inch out now I got to take it back to da dealership. yyyyy I think I just might trade it in on a Charger if I keep having trouble out of it.

Things tend to break when you smash a car up... LOL it's not like the rear end was broken from the factory. Just FYI, cars are NEVER the same after they've been wrecked-- no matter how good the shop is that worked on it.

no kidding...

crawl under it and see what is bent.

probably something with the panhard bar.

you may be able to adjust it out with an adjustable bar. but it makes me wonder how messed up the rest of the suspension is.

well it's going back to the dealership, they where suppose to fix it, I mean new axles and an about $5000 to fix it and it is not fixed, I mean the only thing that could be bent is the chunk because it just put in two new axles and only one was messed up when I got into the wreck. I guess ill see later on to day.

5k for a rear? Why wouldn't you just buy a whole new 12 bolt for 2k and have it installed at an afrermarket shop for a ton less.

I'd ask for a refund, take the $5k and buy a moser. You have every right to have a fixed rear end if that's what you paid for.

Well my dad took my car up to the dealership and they said nothing is wrong with it, but my back tires are worn out??? I just put brand new tires on the car in mid december? So my dad is taking the car to a friend who own a body shop? I guess we might have to go to court.

there may not be anything wrong with the rear end, but if you got smashed from behind hard enough, your entire rear end might be "relocated" an inch or two off-center, making you dog track. If that's the case, your body shop is in for a hell of a lot of work, and depending on the year/mileage they'll probably just tell you to total it.

But why would the dealership put the axles on and everything and not tell me that it was relocated an inch or two, I mean GM certified my ass, I just burnt up two new tires and now I might just have to consider it totaled, why not tell me that in the beginning? I tell you what if it is considered totaled this will probably be the last time I post something cause I'm gonna go up there in my Jeep and total a couple of vette's. holla

lol let a shop take a look before you get too worried. I'm just saying it's a possibility.

I mean when I wrecked I my car went halfway in a ditch, one of my rear tires came off and they had to tow me out so I guess it bent the axles in the process so could that had relocated my rear end?

My dad took it to a friend who owns a body shop and he said a bracket was broken, I guess all those hours to become a GM Certified Tech doesn't work, they suck big nuts and they do it like this

Yes that could definitely mess up your rear. So is the problem just the bracket?

Dustin@SS
