The Lightning got struck down...hard..in a few seconds...

As much as North East Ohio fears my beater Lightning...my Lightning was nothing more than a little spark on Sunday.

My younger brother has a 71 Nova with a 468" BBC in it. It ran high 10's@128-129 4 years ago and had a bunch of issues when it did. He fixed a couple of the issues, then just got started on his own business and left it alone.

So anyways, he is moving and he needed me to follow him because he was taking his car to his business for storage...and you know what that means...

So from 60 mph, which is my Lightnings strongest point, it runs times in the sig, so it is no slouch in any means. I would say by the time I hit 90 mph, he was 5 cars ahead of me and pulling away very hard...ouch....literally, in 4-5 seconds I was crushed...

Bioch is, the car needs a tune up...and he is thinking of a 598" setup soon now that he is interested again in the car.

Ouch, yea not much you can do about a possible sub 10 second car. Good run though.

5 cars from 60-90mph?

j/k

Racing cars that much faster than you is good for comedic value. I've certainly lost that badly many times.

It was pretty ugly...

Actually, I was laughing about it after it was over Think how bad it would have been from a slow roll...
