STBs work well to tie the nose of the car together for decreased flex in the corners.

hard to say if it's something you'll feel. but for $100 or less it's not a bad purchase.

You're spreading urban legend, IMHO.... I've been running a 3-point in a car that puts down reasonably high power, for almost 10 years, and my windshield is still in one piece. After actively looking for CONFIRMED cases of broken windshields over the years, I have only found one case, and that was in a car that decided to take an off-road excursion into a ditch.

And to clarify, there are no "struts" on a 4th Gen.... they are coil-over shocks. :)

a word of caution from some one who cracked a window with a 2 point brace

when you install it make sure the car is completely level. i had mine pulled into a slight incline on the front driverside corner. bolted the brace down. first drive over an uneven road, dips and ruts, and it formed a stress fracture in the bottom of the windshield.

replaced the window, losened the brace, pulled the car to the middle of the road and bolted it back down...no problems for 4yrs.
