1994 Z28 Red 6 speed in FL - $4200
Hello.
My Camaro Z28 is for sale. It's as follows:
Pictures: http://home.cfl.rr.com/modonnell5
I can take more of anything specific you'd like to see.
1994 Camaro Z28 - 113k miles. Price is $4200, slightly negotiable.
Red, Hardtop, 6 Speed
2002 style 10 spoke SS wheels
New (~1500 miles) Fuzion ZR1 tires (very similar to the Firehawk SZ50's, which I really liked)
Cloth interior - red on black
{Edit - 4-15-05}
The STB and Elbow are probably sold - see post below. If the car isn't sold to someone who has already contacted me, the STB will not be included and the elbow will be stock
{Edit}
I bought the car in October from a wholesaler so I do not know the maintenance history. Carfax says it was in a front end collision at about 30k miles and 9 years ago. There is overspray in the engine bay and it looks like the airbags were replaced. See the inside photo and look at the edges of the driver's airbag. It drives straight and I haven't seen any ill effects from the wreck.
I took it to Bithlo for a grudge match against my old boss's 96 Impala SS and ran a best of 14.7 @ 97 (I won!). Tires are driver were limiting, but it probably wouldn't better a 14.5. I don't know of any mechanical problems. It starts right away, hot or cold.
The paint is shiny but heavily swirled and chipped and dented and such for its age. It cleaned up pretty well with a good washing and makes a decent presentation from a few feet away.
The interior is clean but a little rough. Driver's seat has the wear spot on the side bolster and I think the right lumbar support is even off the metal frame. I don't feel it while driving. There is no spare tire and the carpet in the hatch is not held down. You can have the 4 stock rims/tires if you'd like.
The A/C works, the heater works (just flushed the core, it didn't work all winter... ) Both windows are slow (power) but always go all the way up. The driver's has a fresh motor but I think the regulator is slowing it down. I leave the windows down most of the time anyway. Cruise control is sometimes fidgety, but I hardly use it.
There is a vibration at about 50 mph, but it mostly goes away at interstate speeds. The new rims/tires helped a lot in the ride quality. I did not have it aligned though. I was going to wait in lower it an inch first. That may help some more.
The title is clear and ready to be signed over to the buyer. I'll request certified funds or cash, of course.
I'll miss it, but I really ought to drive the GTO more often. In comparison of the 2, the Z28 is more fun and feels like it has more torque. The GTO just keeps on pulling though when the Camaro runs out of breath. I love the LT1 engine and if I'd get what I owe on it, I'd sell the GTO instead. (So if anyone wants to pay $27k for a 2004 Yellow Jacket M6 GTO with 1400 miles, let me know!)
Please reply here or PM me.
Thanks for looking.
Mike

Everything is stock except a BMR STB I had from my 2002 Trans Am and a 1LE elbow because the original was beginning to tear at the throttle body.

Not really considering a trade. If anything I'll be picking up a Solstice in 3 years or so.
