Looking into getting a supercharger, i would like some advise as to which ones i should look at and stay away from..not looking to spend a whole lot of money. I would prefer not to haave to get a new rear end but do i really need to? I would like to run a fmic, and either a flapper valve or a turbo bov(if possible). I MIGHT spray, but if i do it wwont be more than 100shot.

First of all FI and low cost are a contradiction of terms. You really can't do FI cheap and do it right, but if that is what you want, you need to decide what you want from the car; primary usage (drag, roadrace, auto-x, strictly street, etc.), how much power you want, where in the rpm range you want to make it, and how high you are willing to rev to get there. Once you determine all this, we can give you a better idea of which superchargers and supporting parts will be necessary to reach your goals, but be advised, boost is addictive and it ain't cheap.

For a LS type engine I would say ATI Pro Charger, Vortech, or Magnason(spelling maybe wrong). They all have certain advantages and disadvantages. Overall going FI is going to cost you alot, so just understand that the overall investment into your car can and will easly get to the $10,000 mark if you want good reliablity and to pass smog etc. Good luck

I don't think a Magnuson will fit a Gen 3 motor in an F body without hacking the cowl up pretty good. I know they make them for the Vette and GTO plus the trucks though. :)
