Radio kicking off a breaker?

Okay, I just got around to putting my better Aiwa HU in the Z28. I had an aiwa in there before as well so i figure i could just unhook old and hook in new and i'd be done but no. =\ So i get old one out and hook new one up...easy enough...turn it on and it sounds pretty good. Things seem to be going well but then i put in a cd and low and behold only the rear speakers play. I set the source back to tuner and all speakers play...odd...

Tried messing with some settings and things and noticed that click came from dash when switch from tuner to cd. Sounds like a relay or something turning on and off. So am i overloading a relay or something...any help?

Re: Radio kicking off a breaker?

Check your connections again. Check the trouble shooting section in the owners manual. Do you have a subwoofer level selection? I have it on the pioneer and it cuts out the rear speakers when it is engaged. I had a Sony Expod a while ago, it would cut out completely when the bass hit. I junked it and bought a pioneer. If all else fails, I'd say take it back, there could be something wrong with it internaly. Not alot of people read them but, owners manuals can be very informative.
