running power to amp

I was wondering whereto run my power wire for my amp through the firewall..I couldnt see any holes to run my line...Do I need to drill one for this??

You can drill a dedicated hole; be sure to use a grommet if you do to prevent chaffing and eventual shorting of the wire in the hole.

Or...

You can cut a slit in the grommet that passes the PCM wires into the car (assuming 4th gen F-body). Remove the PCM from the back of the passenger side fender well (2 10mm bolts), and you'll see the grommet. Then on the inside you'll need to remove the pas. kickpanel.. then you should be able to look up there and see the grommet.

Be sure to run your RCA's along the opposide side of the car as the power wire to preven noise in the audio lines.

I drilled my hole above the one for the hood cable and ran it under the trim all the way into the trunk. I have it fused on both ends.

There is a grommet located on the passenger side. You are going to have to reach up over the kick panel. Keep feeling up until you feel a grommet. Pop that out. There you go, a place to run your power wire.
