Re: remote start

One good one is the Viper 771Xv. I don't remember if that's the right model number. Anyways it's a pretty reliable alarm/keyless/remote start system. If you have a stick shift, then installing a remote start is possible, but then you would have to bypass the clutch and make sure to leave it in neutral.

Re: remote start

Thats the right model number. 771XV is the 2-way LED with Alarm, keyless and remote start. Personally I will be going with the 791XV with 2-way LCD ($175 on discount) and motion sensor setup for when the t-tops are off. Go with Viper or an other DEI stuff. Its quality and easy to install too.

Re: remote start

my friend has one that is made just for stick. after looking at DEIs site i don't see any made for stick. I really dont like the idea of buying an a4 kit for an m6.

Anyone try to install it thereselves???
