Aftermarket tail lights
Aftermarket tail lights
Will a pair of aftermarket tail lights made for the 93-97 camaro fit a 2000 camaro. I know the design is drastically similar, but is there some design change that prevents this?
Re: Aftermarket tail lights
93-96 are the same. 97 was the change over year for the interior and the tail lights. 97-2002 are the same. 93-96 had no amber turn signals, so the wiring is different. There are guides available to make the new lights fit in the old cars, so doing the reverse should be possible. I hope this is for the export style lights.
Good luck,

I did a search and found this thread.

It has a few pictures in it. Gm has discontinued production. They get pretty expensive on ebay. There is a set on there now. do the same seach as me and you'll find them.

don't know not many aftermarket tail lights out there that look ok... have to see pics first...
for what its worth I did a 97+ to a 93-96 conversion. The sockets don't fit in, you either need to modify the actual tail light socket holder, or get 93-96 bulb sockets. I modified my tailights(since I got them for $25) Then I "jumped" a wire, so all the lights come on when the brakes are on.
They shoudl bolt in just fine, just may need to play with the wireing a little.

and I have a few pics of the difference when the lights are on the car.
