Electric Superchargers; do they work?
I used to see advertisements for these things all the time about a year ago. The concept seems sort of flaky to me but I suppose it might make a difference on say a dirt bike or something like that.

I wouldn't think they would come close to pushing enough air to even match the airflow of an engine running NA... But, some are selling for around $600

In order to have an elextric motor that put out enough cfm to feed even a small engine moderate boost, you would need a motor so powerful that it would require a big, heavy, high current power. The motor itself would be gigantic, the cables that provide the motor power would have to be thicker then your finger. So the answer is no.
