IIRC the vortec trucks use a similar looking pcm, although hardware is different.
Anyone have a pic of a vortec timing cover.. .if it can be adapted the timing cover to our block it would be very simple to eliminate the opti, converting to obd2 and using that pcm...
That pcm uses a CKP and CMP and voila NO MORE OPTI.

I thought of that as well Chris, but the bolt patterns are different. Not to even mention that you would have to modify the LT1 intake for a distributor because that is where the cam sensor is on a Vortec SBC.
