What size Weld's for my 95Z please...

Quick question. Was thinking about going with a set of Weld's on my 95Z. Could someone tell me what size I need to look for front and back as far as diameter, backspacing and bolt pattern goes? Not sure what I need to clear the calipers either. Also, can I go with a non-skinny up front and if so, what size. Thanks in advance.

4th Gen bolt circle is 5 x 4.75" (120.65mm)

Which Welds? The Pro-Stars and DragLites:

Front:
15x3.5" 1.75" backspace. Requires a 5/16" spacer on some cars to clear the spring clips on the brake pads and the big horizontal bar that holds the caliper.

Rear:
15x10" 7.5" backspace (click on "Trailer Queen...." below to see this setup. Or 15x8" 5.5" backspace. The fins will need to be ground off the rear calipers.

You need longer studs front and back with these wheels to pass NHRA tech.

If you are looking at the Pro-Star XP or DragLite XP, I don't think you end up with the caliper and brake interference problems, but you would also end up with a heavier wheel. Check with someone who actually uses them.

Yes Injuneer, thats the setup i'm looking for. The pro stars also. I'll settle for draglites if I find a better deal. Have you weighed them? Just curious how much the fronts and rears weigh with the pro stars and tires. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

Re: What size Weld's for my 95Z please...

My notes are sort of messy at this point, but I think the Weld 15x3.5 with a Moroso DS-2 26"x4.5" tire was 27#. Saved 22# each over my 17x9.5ZR1/275's. The 15x10 with (I think it was) QTP 28x11.5 with no tube was 37# each, so it saved about 23# per wheel over my 17x11ZR1/315 DR's.

275 KDW vs. Moroso DS-2:

I run Pro Star XPs 15x6 and 15x10. They bolt right up without modifications but they are heavier than regular Pro Stars or Draglites, how much I am not sure but they are lighter than my salad shooter/Potenza setup.
