Opinions on this intake?

It reminds me of what I used to do to four-bangers.

Is this anything that I would be able to put on my 2002 SS, that would add power, more than any 'lid' I could use, that would still look respectable?

The Volant system and the K&N FIPK are available now. I doubt that you will actually make a lot more power than just a lid. You will, however, pay a lot more for them. You can check them both out at www.tbyrnemotorspots.com

BMR actually has a pretty badass setup now. Check it out at www.bmrfabrication.com It replaces not only the lid and baffles, but also the lower airbox itself.

Screw that (BMR) just get a regular $130-150 lid, a filter, and cut the plastic out of your lower airbox, and you have that SAME thing for $100.00 dollars LESS. Get some cheap washers and raise your air box up a little and its even better

Oh yeah that intake is for the Corvette and is NOT going to work for the SS.
Get a lid and a filter do a little cutting and save yourself some money.
