slp options

when some slp options were put on the cars from the factory, was the computer ever touched? i am looking at a 2000 SS and it has the rims and exhaust. he claims something was done to the computer but i would like to know for sure. thanks

No computer changes were made. All options were direct bolt on performance.

SLP never touched the computer on any of the factory SS/Firehawk cars. Even the LT4 Firehawks had the stock computer. This was due to the fact that if they touched the computer, the car would have had to be recertified for emissions.

There's a tag on the inside of the door that tells you what SLP did to the car. Mine says performance exhaust, and something ignition... I can't read it, because the damn paper gets wet.

Heh, scratch that ignition thing. I just went outside to double check, and it says key fuse something. I don't know why I thought ignition...

Thats Key Fob. The one that opens your door it's from SLP.
