Unhappy Is it the clutch or the ignition?

I noticed my car ticking and hessitating a bit when I left a dead stop on the incline in my parking garage today and thought it was probably oignition related. I checked it out better after work and now it seems to stumble off the line under hard? acceleration. I was thinking it felt like the timing advance was being taken out of the ignition but not sure. As far as the clutch goes, I have been nursing this clutch for a while, it does make some noise on shifts and sounds like a bit of a gear whine when I coast to a stop, but have never had problems with it engaging. I just put LCAs on the car this weekend but I'm not trying to lauch it off the line just medium/hard acceleration. Could the LCAs be causing that much additional traction to cause the clutch to finally have problems?

How can I tell if it's the clutch or the ignition? Is there simple check that I can do with engaging the clutch differently? If I can't figure this out I will probably take it to the dealer sice I don't know a mechanic that I trust here in the Kingwood/Humble, Texas area. Help.

Re: Is it the clutch or the ignition?

I'm having the same problem with my m6. It feels like a turd for a split second off the line if I leave hard, and then picks up like normal. Under normal driving its fine, just under medium/hard like you said...
