Allright guys heres the deal, i jus cheanged the trannys out of my car thinking it had problems. I had a spare out of a 97 z28. My car is a 94. Now i had thought by a few clues that my tranny wasnt stock but never thought much about it. Well in the 2 trannys the lil barcode looking sticker on top of the tranny that came out (the 94) it said DLF the one out of the 97 was different but i dont remeber what. Well i didnt think much of that either till i took it on a test drive, the car didnt pull as hard it isnt missing the engine is there but something was different. Im thinking the tranny that came out might be the early 93 viper tranny but i dont kno how to tell the difference. Any ideas? thanks

 

My T56 is out of the car right now, do you need to know what it says on the sticker? I can check it later, or I can get another number off it if you need to check anything, its the original trans. Let me know.

its not a viper tranny, period. it COULD be the wide ratio 93 fbody tranny.. but imo, your new tranny is an upgrade if that is so.

 

The sticker on top of my 97's trans says:
