"The GTO concept has a 6.3 L V8 engine with 500 hp at 5200 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm, matching early rumors about the LS7 for the C6 Corvette Z06"

Underrated!!!

The question is, will Wixom be able to keep up with demand??

I cant wait to see the Colorado. Although I wish GM would stop teasing with the fast concept trucks and build one.

To whom ever goes, there better be pictures galore!
Help out the ones that arent so lucky to live in/near the Motor City. :(

Its also good to see that GM let young engineers test out there minds. Good news to know that there are people like us coming up through GM, and in direct control of upcoming cars.

I wonder what the differences in bore and stroke are between the GTO's 6.3 and the Colorado's 6.2....or do they in fact have the same displacement.

A V8 Colorado would be cool. You'd think that since the Gen 3 V8 is more compact then beofre and the engine bay has to be bigger then an S-10 that i would be pretty easy to do. That NA 5 cly isn't cutting it for a the top engine choice.
